I was wondering if you could share your experiences with the area/base (Anchorage). We are a military family (Air Force) and we just recieved orders to Elmendorf. We have to be there by November 30th. My main concern is getting there. We are currently in So. Cal. and we think we will take the ferry and would like to know what that is like. I tend to get sea-sick so I'm a little worried. Any other info would be appreciated as well.
