The only other time I've ever heard of Hell, MI is from a little urban legend about the band, the Eagles. Apparently, when they broke up they said they would get back "when hell freezes over." Then, there was a big snowstorm in Hell, MI, and a fan in the area wrote to tell them that Hell had frozen over in the storm. Hence, they reunited in the '90s. :)

Urban legend, I'm sure. :) Still, a fun story.
