Showing off my birthday girl!

I just thought I would show off a picture of my birthday girl from this morning right after she woke up. We gave her a balloon because she loves them and I don't think she let go of it for at least 2 hours. Also here is a pic of her the other day that is a little more put together. LOL

Thanks everyone! I too can't believe she is two already. I forgot to share our good news, we just had her annual review with the state and she is now age appropriate physically so we only meet with the physical therapist one more time and we are finished. We will continue the Speech Therapy for now, but that doesn't worry me near as much as the physical delay did.

And a good tip on the balloon is we always go to the $1 store. So I had DH stop on his way home from work on Monday night and he picked that out for her so we could give it to her first thing in the morning. She and my DH went to dinner with my MIL last night and they got her a cake and stuff (I had to work so I wasn't there) but anyway she HAD to take her balloon with her to the restaurant, it was cute.

Yea! It's such a relief to hear "age appropriate" isn't it. I'm glad the EI worked as well for Maggie as it did for Susanna. Good luck with the speech therapy.

I am kind of embarassed to say but it is just from the local Dollar Store. Whenever we get her a ballon we go to the $1 store, because we will only let her have mylar balloons and they are just to expensive to get at the other stores.

I have seen them at several of them. I get them at Deals on Pendleton Pike but they also have them at the dollar store near 71st and Keystone as well as the one on 96th st close to 37 (we have bought them from all 3). Usually they are displayed not blown up on the wall and you have to pick which one you want and they blow it up right then. Most of the stores ask that if you need more than 2 or 3 to order at least 24 hours in advance. They do regular ballons as well and I think those are 2 for $1. That reminds me I should go order some for Maggies party on Sunday, we are just having family but it would be cute to put some on the mail box and on the deck outside, that is what we did last year.

So I would maybe call the stores closest to you and ask, they may have them in a binder that you pick from as well.
