Who else can't wait for CARS to come out?

We can't wait for this to come out this weekend! My DS loves, loves, loves cars and takes his cars everywhere (bed, bathroom, tub, etc). I'm hoping the movie will keep his attention!

I can't wait either. My 2 year old has little to no interest in tv, so she will be staying home either with a babysitter or DH and I will go at different times, but we both do want to see it!

Maddy and I are very excited about Cars!!! She gets very excited everytime she sees Lightning McQueen (which is um, all the time because they are really pushing it in stores right now) and says "CARS!!!"

We are taking DD since it comes out on her birthday. I hope she will sit through it. If not there are four of us going so we can rotate with her. She really likes playing with cars and seems excited enough.

It's an OBSESSION at our house!

DS was already obsessed with Hot Wheels, so this was a natural progression for him.

We have ALL of the cars minus 2 (Sarge and Lizzie)...if someone sees these, please tell me! We also have the 3 books (read everynight), the CD player, and, as of today, the CD. Everyone in the family knows the whole story...and my not yet 2 yr old daughter even says "Ka-chow!"

We have tickets to the movie Saturday morning.

Charlie has been watching tons of DVDs over reg TV lately, so he hasn't seen the previews that often, but I am sooo pumped to take him, it'll be our date movie! I was thinking of going on Fri, but 1. I don't have a sitter for Max & he's been soooo crabby lately, 2. it'll be jammed packed.

I can wait a week or two and go for Charlie's bday which is the 24th.

Hmmm. Curious to see how you liked the movie?

We went this weekend and it was way too long IMO. G couldn't take it towards the end and was crying and screaming. More than 2 hours for a kids movie.
