Does anyone have central vac? Do you love (or hate) it? We're building a new house which comes roughed for central vac, but the cost for the canister and attachments is kind of expensive! I've never used one before, so I'm not sure if it's something that I'd love, or hate... the hose is 30' and the suction is supposed to be top of the line... The best part is the kick-plate in the kitchen where you can sweep everything into... I guess it's the fear of not being able to try it before I make such a big purchase...

thanks!!

Hi Susan,

I have one. I don't know anything about the cost because it was already in the house when we bought it. It is quite convenient and light to carry (just the hose and brush). I live in a two story house. And yes, the kitchen is a breeze to clean :-).
If you have other questions, let me know.
