How about somewhere with volcanoes, like Hawaii, the Big Island?

My only other guess is a place with mudslides. Yeeks!

Hmmm... looks like the Ozarks to me. How about Eureka Springs, AR?

Hey, I haven't played yet but I think this is the Cristo Redentor, outside Rio...

Not sure, but that's not a particle accelerator is it?

I'm still laughing!

Hey, that could definitely be the big Jesus statue! Isn't that in Eureka Springs? I like that guess!

Yep. I think that is the Christ of the Ozarks. Kind of in my backyard.

My guess is the statue of Christ the Redeemer outside of Rio. I keep trying to find it on Google Earth, to see if I'm even close, but I can't find it. I didn't know there was a giant Christ statue in the Ozarks. Hmmmm...

Sorry, DH's dad is a particle physicist and yep, he works with particle accelerators. That's the first thing I thought of when I saw that structure, hee, hee.

Oh, NOW I see the statue, duh! It reminds me of that stupid statue outside of Penn Station in Baltimore (which was featured in a Zippy comic). This one is probably much cooler looking in person, though.

We're in the Ozarks but not really near Eureka Springs and I've never been there. I hear it's beautiful!

Cristo Redentor in Rio de Janeiro it is. Peggy, Kristen and Deb are correct.

It took me a bit to find it originally so here is a bigger pic with the location circled.

Thanks very much for posting the bigger pic!

The image quality really is amazing. I love Google Earth! Lately, we've been using it for house hunting for my ILs! LOL
