Funky tans from strappy sandals

Ok, so we all get these tans from our favorite shoes. Does anyone have any tips to "fill in the tan" or another tip, so you can wear other shoes with out looking kinda silly? Or does everyone just deal with it? I thought if anyone who know this answer, it would be a BBB mom :)

LOL, eagerly awaiting the responses. I already have mine for this year firmly marked. Why is it that my feet tan so easily, but the rest of me reflects?

Unfortunately, I don't have this issue. I'm as pale as they come :(

But I would think you could try self tanner to blend the area. Or maybe one of those bronzers. Being that I am so pale, self tanners are such a help for me.

Hopefully someone will have some other suggestions.

As a side note, why is it that people like Nicole Kidman and Renee Zelleger look phenomenal with the ultra paleness, and I don't?? :P
