Thought I would share the invite I did for DDs upcoming 2nd birthday. A "fish" theme, obviously. The background is the fabric of her birthday dress. The circles are quite a bit brighter here than when printed. They are more of the darker royal blue color in the background.

The DADDY pictures were taken this past week so that project is next.

ETA: I use Microsoft Digital Image Suite. I have PhotoShop Elements but find Digital Image Suite to be more user friendly and it has the features I need.

Awesome invitation; I love the perfectly coordinated fish on it and her outfit. :)

The fish swimsuit was entirely coincidence. I bought it last year in hope it would fit this summer and it does...barely. And it matching the fabric my mom is using to make her dress...another coincidence.

I love the invite! I think it's so cute that Susanna is holding the number '2'. Mamas like you encourage me to open my Photoshop Elements box and get on the ball so I can learn and create this sort of thing (I'm 1/2 lazy and 1/2 short on time!)

She *does* look so much more grown up than I remember last!

The invitation is really great, and I'm sure the party will be LOTS of fun :)

How fun! I love that it is colorful yet not overwhelming, plus a picture of the beautiful birthday girl tops it off. ;) I like it a lot! Good job!!
