I have the most wicked case of poison ivy and know you ladies always have the best secret remedies for things, so I thought I'd ask. I started taking a homeopathic, Rhus Tox, today as per a couple of websites and am trying not to scratch, but man, I have gotten super allergice to the stuff over the years and this is the worst case I've had since I was a kid. Its all up my right arm and part of my left.
SO, anyone have any secret remedies? I'm so itchy!!!!!!!
TIA!

I use to make a paste of baking soda and water and put that on it - took some of the itchyness away for me. I'm also a big fan of ice - get a cold pack or ice in a bag and put it on yur arm - you'll think more about how cold your arm is and less about how itchy it is.

I haven't had poison ivy yet, but the ice definitely takes away some of the inflammation and makes it feel better. And I'm a huge fan of BS for helping with itchiness. I'm sure there are other remedies out there, and I can scour my greentaramama site for you if you want.

If you're willing to try traditional medicine, hydrocortisone, or oral steroids from your doctor would be very helpful!
