Yes, I couldn't believe how hard it was, just getting her to hold it (she had NO interest in it, even for a few seconds)! I was sweating so much, and I had grandma to help. I think I am going to put some strawberry jelly on the back of the A or Y, so at least she will be holding on to one of them for a little while... any other ideas?

I wish I had one of those digitals that does the "burst" shots - where they take like 3 in a row (within a second or two) because that would have helped a LOT.

But the result will be so worth it!!! Daddy will adore it :)

Did you try putting stickers on the back? I'm not sure if that would help at her age, but Amelia loves stickers especially the puffy kind. Hmm, I don't have any other ideas at the moment. I got pretty lucky actually. I had a hard time with Amelia because she wanted to hold all the letters, but overall I got a lot of usuable shots in a reasonable amount of time. I had way more of Linnea though. She was just more cooperative for some reason.

Yep the stickers worked here too. Plus I wrapped a rubber band around some of the letters and that got her attention on it as well.

Anyhow, I looove your pics and your DD is tooo cute!!

These are great! I know how much work it is outside. That's why we went with indoor shots this year. Luckily, there are many Ds in Daddy. You're almost there!
