What has your DH been up to now? ;-) Is it e-mail or browser based?

Ug.

Have you checked your history or cookies?

Has someone else been looking?

As for how to get it to stop, you may want to check out zonealarm.com. It's a firewall that may prevent it.

How do I tell? My husband has his own computer so I am doubting that he would be stupid enough to look at porno on my computer. How do I see cookies? Does this mean for sure someone has been looking for porno on my computer? (my elderly mom babysits? Hummmmm) Just kidding.

I am guessing it is browser based. If you are running Microsoft Internet Explorer - select the tools menu, then internet options. Run both delete cookies and delete files. This is good first step and may fix the problem. Unfortunately it also means that any site that automatically logs you in (like Baby Bargains may) will have to be reset when you go to that site next. You may also want to make sure your virus protection is up to date and scan your system.

Are you receiving these via email, or are the showing up in some other fashion?

They are coming in email. I use Mozilla if that matters. Thanks!

You don't have to do much if they get your email address.

DH signed up at starwars.com with his brand new email address a couple years ago, didn't use it for anything else, and within a couple weeks was getting spam, including porn. I have filters set up and delete anything that's suspicious-- I don't even open it.

If it's in email, you didn't do anything, and you can't get it to stop. They just send the stuff out blindly to every email address they can find anywhere (often making addresses up to see if they work).

Use filtering so you don't have to look at it. How you do that will depend on your email client and your email provider, but whoever you get your account from should be able to help you with it.

Now if one of the bored housewives in my neighborhood would clean my house, *that* I'd be interested in...
