Our DADDY pics...finally!!!

I've been wanting to post these all week, but we ran into a snag. DH *always* goes to bed way before me - usually an hour or so. But...not this week! I don't know what was up this week, but he was...until late. I wasn't able to go through my pics to decide, so I just took my favorites to the lab and had them all printed so I could look through them at work. Now, I'm finally able to get on here to post them since he is at the store. I still have to get them in the frame! I think this is the final product:

Here are two others that I really liked as well. We had lots of good D pictures. Which tricycle pic do you like best? I had to get creative because DD would have nothing to do with the letters. Thanks to another BBB member for the flower idea.

They're all adorable, but I LOVE the one in the tree.
I know what you meanabout dh getting in the way. I told him i had a pregnancy craving to get him out of the house!!!!

Wonderful pics! I think the first trike pic works best for the group, but both are fab. And the last where she is looking at the flower, so precious.

Thanks, I really like the D with the flower, too. However, it's very much like the Y pic. I'm not crazy about the A, but it was the best of what we had. Actually, the best had my Mom's leg in it. If I had time, I would have gotten someone to Photoshop it out for me, but I didn't think of that until too late.

Kim, those came out WONDERFUL!!! You are a great photographer and so creative!!! And Grace is such a cutie pie. I do like the D with her on the tricycle sticking out her tounge.

I know Im too late now. But I love the 'D' pic with flower in her hand as well as the 2 'd' pics that you have on your final draft! It is such a tough decision :D But it looks like your creativity paid off they are adorable!!!
So was this in fact your final product? How did DH like it?

Those pictures are really gorgeous, you're either a prrofessional photographer, or have a fabulous camera, or BOTH! :) The colors are vivid and the photos are so crisp and clear! Each one is really a work of art. Bravo! I'm sure Daddy was THRILLED.

Thanks for the compliments - that is so nice. Actually, DH does have a professional digital camera that he is still learning how to use. He is the one with the photography skills and is great with a film camera. I asked for a quick lesson with the simplest settings so I could "learn how to use this thing". I do think I have an eye for a good photo and one of my goals is to take some classes someday. I really had a hard time keeping her face in focus and getting the exposure right. I had some others that I liked much better, but her face was blurry or the photo was over/under exposed. I had to use autofocus to even get the shots and the camera was wanting to focus on the letters. Funny thing is, I haven't touched the camera since - it's too intimidating!

We have a good friend who is a professional photographer and he usually does my pics for me, but I wasn't going to ask him to get involved in THIS project - lol! He did adjust the colors and lighting a bit for me so they looked better, but he told me I did good, too. Overall I am pleased and yes, that was my final product. DH really did like it and took it to work today. :-)

I just saw these today! I LOVE the one in the tree! That's so cute! I was going to ask which trike pic you ended up using, but I bet you posted that in your response at the end of the thread, so I'll go read that!
