I totally agree! I'm actually pretty bad at it and have only gotten it once by myself. The others I used clues by the sharp mamas and did searching on the web for overhead views to see if I could narrow it down. But otherwise, geography was never my strong suit. It's one of the reasons I'm having so much fun with this. :)

Well... my mom is a high school geography teacher! So I grew up around maps, travel books, geography texts. Even so I've been completely *stumped* by many of them. (the zoo in Australia - I never would have gotten that one!)

I don't think my mom is familiar yet with google earth. I may print off some of Erica's challenges and take them to show her when I go visit in a couple of weeks. What a *great* teaching tool....
