Okay this is purely a bragging post, so anyone that wants to add to it please do so!

I just had to share this DADDY pic reject. DD spied the jungle gym at the park and made a bee-line right after I took the first pic.

DD is a major dare-devil. We went to the new IKEA and she tried to climb everything. She is going down the big slide at the park though she does need help getting the last bit of the climb, and laughes like crazy going down. She is also insisting on going down the stairs big-girl style. She definitely *does her own stunts*!

Since discovering the sunglasses last week, DD has worn them EVERY night while nursing before bed.

What's the latest going on at your place?

DS loves Max & Ruby on Noggin.

My DH was singing the theme song today (don't you love how that happens?) and instead sang "Max and DS...." instead of Max & Ruby.

DS immediately stood up, shook his finger and said "No Daddy, it's Max and RUBY!!!!" He was so insistent! I was laughing so hard!

Maddy is describing everything she does now. Such as saying "crying" when she is indeed crying. "Sleeping" when she is trying to settle for nap or the night. These pics (also a Daddy pic rejects) come to mind "I am running, and running and running"

If you look closely you can see the shadow of the D. ;)

ETA: Moira has cutie pigtails Erica!! I loved the sunglasses pic too, it is still making me laugh days later. :)

Very cute, esp. those pigtails!

This is what's happening at our house..."OK" or "OOOOK?" We try not to use "no" with DD, so we do a lot of redirecting - "Close the drawer now, ok?" We all use ok a lot with her it seems, so that is her latest thing.

Sat. morning, she went over to the wall unit and opened the door where we have the DVD player. She loves Bear in the Big Blue House, but we limit her TV watching. I knew what she wanted, but we all just ignored it because we didn't want her watching TV yet. She stood there a few seconds, then turned around to look at us (myself, DH and 2 stepsisters) and said, "Beah, ok?" - like at least one of us would do it for her. It was so cute. Today, my brother was showing pics of his vacation and telling us a story. I was holding DD and she was looking at the pics and listening very intently. My brother paused for a second and DD chimed in..."OK." She uses it a lot these days!

Here are my DADDY pic rejects:

My neighbor's DD does the same thing. She'll go around in circles for at least an hour going "walking walking, walking... skipping, skipping, skipping... RUNNING! RUNNING! RUNNING!

It's hilarious
