So this morning when I told dd it was time to say goodbye because I was leaving for work, she said "But I don't want you to go to work" as she does more often than I would like. So I explained, "well, if I don't go to work, we wouldn't be able to pay our bills." Her response? "I want you to stop the bills." Yeah, honey. I want to stop the bills too. If only it were that easy.

What, Mommy Magic isn't powerful enough to stop the mortgage invoices from showing up in your mailbox?!? ;)

lol, my older ds is like that too. when i tell him that daddy has to go to work so that we can pay the bills he says "well cant daddy just give you money out of his pocket to pay them" wow, i have wished many of times it was that easy.

hmmm......i wonder if the gas and electric companies would buy the excuse "well my child wanted me to stop paying them" ;)

Definitely love her logic :)

Payton has refused to give kisses, hugs and high 5's in an attempt to keep us from leaving the sitter's on occasion. As if withholding the routine is all it takes (I so wish some mornings!).
