I have a 4 month old that needs to be swaddled to sleep, but since it's warmer I feel bad swaddling him with his blanket. What do the rest of you do?

TIA!

My doctor advised me to just swaddle around the arms and leave the feet exposed, allows the heat to escape.

We did what Ann suggested and she was able to sleep fine. Also, we would keep her in only a dipe...so she wouldn't get to hot.

DD was born the end of July and I swaddled her until she was 7 months old. But I only swaddled her arms and just left her legs alone. If I thought it was warm I dressed her in a onesie and then the blanket. She was always fine. And asleep!

Well, I like a house on the colder side so I wasn't too concerned about it. I just put her in a diaper and then wrapped her up. We never had any problems.
