I have been contracting every 3 minutes for about an hour and they are much stronger than they have been. They calmed down a bit when I took a bath but are coming back. If it carries on for another 30 minutes we are headed to the hospital. Please send good vibes...It's just too early.

Many hugs, and I hope the contractions stop.

My thoughts are with you today...hopefully they can hold Jaci off a little while longer, but I hope you can take some comfort in the fact that she had the steroids already and that most 30 weekers do really well long term, as Beth said.

It was a VERY long night but we are home. The contractions eased up once we got to the hospital. I dilated another 1/2 centimeter and my Cervix is much softer than last week but my doctor felt good that the contractions were so strong and they didn't do much. I am still having some pretty strong contractions again today but they are more spaced out. I am so relieved that she didn't keep me in the hospital. If I start in like I did last night I have to go back in but for now I am HOME and Jaci is staying put. Every day is another bonus so we will take what we can.

The BBB magic vibes seem to be working. Thank you all so much and keep them coming!

Thanks for pointing this out! :) It is Jaycee not Jackie. I guess we could have just kept it simple by spelling it Jaycee but Jaci just seems like a cute bubbley little girl more than Jaycee. Does that make any sense? We wanted something that you don't hear often but somthing that wasn't too out there. Her name will be Jaci Renee (or Rene...I still can't decide). Right now it is just Jaci STAY PUT!

Tara,

I'm so glad to hear you're home. STAY PUT just a little longer Jaci!

I prefer Renee over Rene for a girl. It's the feminine version. My parents gave me and my siblings (all six of us) French names, so it irritates me when people mispell my name with a "y". It's pronounced with a soft "i", but it's spelled Caroline not Carolyn, thank you very much. That's just my opinion, but you can spell it any way you like. :)
