Please please! We are going to be visiting a waterpark for one full day while on vacation in 2 weeks and although DD (will be 8mo) loves water a lot, I know there must be something I'm not thinking of to make it easier! We'll have lots of family (that she knows well) along to help with her, taking her stroller and meitai (she naps great when I wear her), taking lots of sunscreen, swim diapers, and her life vest, swimsuit, sunhat. She, of course, won't be going on any big waterslides, just playing in the kiddie area. Am I forgetting anything? Any other tips?

As for the zoo, we will go as soon as we fly in (flight is about 3 hours) which will be early afternoon. Again, taking the stroller and meitai. This will be a fun thing to do before we get in the car and drive another few hours to get to the lake we are staying at. :) The zoo visit won't be as long, probably 2-3 hours max. Any advice is much appreciated! TIA!

Sounds like you have it all covered. I have found that when we go to Sea World with the boys and do water activities that no matter how dry I try to get their bottom in between activities that they usually both come down with a small rash. I always pack butt paste just in case. One other thing to consider would be if your DD has sensitive skin to be sure to wash the chlorine off of her and perhaps take lotion or something of the sort. Both boys have really dry skin so the chlorine irritates them and they usually need something extra to keep them from itching.

Sounds like a fun trip! Hope you have a great time!
