Now I am living proof that having kids fries your brain.
I am making a video montage on onetruemedia which accepts mp3 songs. I downloaded "Baby Mine" from itunes and now Onetruemedia won't accept it b/c it's not in MP3 format. Just 4 yrs ago I worked with computers, now I haven't a clue as to how to convert the file into an mp3 file. Anyone have an idea?

Thanks!

I burned my iTunes songs to a CD, and was able to get the songs off the CD and into my video software.

Is this song you need?

http://www.songbydesign.com/clips/baby%20mine.mp3

If so, then click on the link below and right click and hit "save as" on the baby mine link. That's how I got my song, golden slumbers, for my montage

beautiful song btw.

Also, another good place to get mp3 (I think) is walmart.com.

Good luck and hth!

ETA: I found another "baby mine" by bette midler (is that who sings the original song?)

Anyhow, here is the link: http://healingfromtheheart.tripod.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderfiles/babymine_bettemidler.mp3

And it came from this site: http://healingfromtheheart.tripod.com/

As Rachel said - you gotta burn the iTunes songs to cd as a normal audio cd then rip that cd to mp3 format back onto your hard drive. iTunes format will not place nice with other formats. :\

Also, just an FYI, you can do it all in iTunes if you set up your Import settings correctly.

Step 1: Set Up a Playlist in iTunes
Step 2: Burn Playlist to CD
Step 3: Make sure your import settings, say import songs in MP3 format from CDs
Step 4: Immediately reimport the songs you just burned
Step 5: I normally rename the songs with MP3 in the title so when I go upload them to OneTrueMedia they're easier to identify
