I was wondering if anything like this exists because I really need to lose the lingering 20lbs. left over from being preggers. Hopefully something will help me to start cooking more. Any suggestions?

DH purchased some software called DietPower that he likes and uses. It's like a food and exercise journal. I think it was $30 or $40 and when he uses it (he's taking a couple weeks off) it works very well for him.

I use a couple of different sites...but for actual calorie, weight and activity tracking, Fitday.com is great.

I have a great program for tracking those things, but I'm really looking for something that has menus planned out with recipes. I want to be able to print out a grocery list, too. I need easy...really easy.

Try the Kraft website:
http://www.kraftfoods.com/main.aspx?s=health&m=profile/profile_log_in_start&promo_id=4800

There is a survey you take to determine what your needs are (i.e., weight loss, weight management, healthy easting, etc.) they base your needs on your responses and send you shopping lists and menus with recipes all for free. HTH!

I have been using sparkpeople.com. I think it is pretty good. They focus on healthy life style and can track of lots of things like how many glasses of water you drink, calories, activities, minerals and any user defined goals that you can check. They also have meal plans and recipe database. They also have forums, groups etc.

There is a cookbook called Saving Dinner and Saving Dinner the Low Carb Way - it has recipes and shopping lists pre planned.

It's not meant as a diet book, but the stuff is pretty healthful.

The only trouble I've had is that the servings are like 4-6 so you end up with leftovers if you have a smaller family.

The author, Leanne Ely, also has an online subscription service called menu-mailer, where they email the recipes and shopping list each week. I think they have a 2 serving version of that.

I found this through Flylady. I generally like it, except for the abundance of leftovers. Recipes are easy and tasty.
