I've got a pile of sorority shirts, a pile of church camp shirts, and a pile of college shirts. They move back and forth every 6 months when I swap summer and winter clothes I don't wear them, generally, unless I'm working out in the yard or on that random occasion when I choose to exercise ;)

A friend's mom made a quilt for her out of her old church camp shirts (the printed parts are the centers of blocks), so she's still got them, but in a more usable & displayable form. Since that mom's not available (other side of the country), and mine doesn't think she's skilled enough, where might I go find a person who's got the skills to turn my sentimental t-shirts into something nice and cozy?

If you google "personal quilt tshirt" you'll find lots of companies that do this. Otherwise I'd ask at your local sewing store or check their bulletin boards or call a local seamstress. I know there are people out there who do this. Good luck.

That's what I was thinking (sewing store), but as I never go there, wasn't sure what kind of help I'd find! I'm hoping not to mail my shirts out to some stranger and hope they came back, ya' know?
