My cat was diagnosed with diabetes early last week. The vet opted to try diet change instead of insulin. Mr. Chloe then go sicker - vomiting, not eating, general apathy. We had him admitted to an emergency hospital on Saturday morning. He's still not doing great. Hasn't been able to hold any food down and is on an IV. They think he has pancreatitis.

Please say a little prayer for him. Apparently pancreatitis is difficult to diagnose & treat and all cats respond differently. I'm going to visit him right now but I'm heartbroken that he's not doing well.

It's soooo hard to see a pet suffer... Try to think of the wonderful life you have given him!

I'm sorry; I know how hard it is. We just lost one of our Labs to bone cancer, and it was very, very tough to watch her suffer and then to let her go.

Carren,

I just went through this with my cat. She was diagnosed with a heart condition in April, and we put her to sleep on May 16 after a month of vet visits, ER stays, and trying to get her to take different meds. I still get sad and upset thinking about her.

Lots of prayers for Mr. Chloe. I really hope your story has a happy ending. It is so hard to see our furbabies suffer. :-(
