trip planning advice

Hello All!

We were talking about vacations and a friend with 2 children said you don't take vacations now that you have kids - vacations are relaxing - now you take trips. :)

My MIL wants to take us on a vacation in February. We're thinking somewhere tropical. Do you have any reccomendations? We would love to find a place that my MIL , dh, and I will enjoy ourselves - but also busy enough to keep our to-be-22 month old happily occuppied. Does this exsist?

Beaches, cruise?
