Dell recalling notebook batteries

I know this is something I am going to have to deal with.

Since I know a lot of us use notebooks I wanted to post.

They mentioned some of the Latitude models were included. I have a D510 - I guess I'll have to wait to see if its part. JOY, I just got the thing back after shipping it to Dell to have the keyboard replaced after DS thought it would be neat to pick off a few keys!

Yep, we have the Gold warranty and I've been wondering when it might break down (D600). Oh joy joy joy.

Thanks! I just got an Inspiron on July 16, so I've sent them an e-mail to double check. I'm guessing they would contact me, though, wouldn't they?

If you go to their website, it lists the battery part numbers affected by the recall. We just got our Inspiron E1505 a few months ago, but our battery is not included in the recall.
