Montessori - pros and cons

I need to find full time childcare asap, and it seems that the only alternative to a traditional daycare that provides full time hours are Montessori preschools. I am vaguely familiar with the concept, but can you guys give me some concrete pros and cons?

Don't know if you found what you were looking for but I have an Early Childhood Education Degree and taught 5 years in the public school. My last two years I taught at a Public School that offered a true Montessori class, I got my certification through AMS in Houston, Texas. I would love to answer any question that you have.
