Bah-ee (Barney)

I'm a failure as a mother! (kidding, a little).

Anyway, we are so pleased with his signs and speech development. The signs are helping us a lot (thanks, Signing Time!) and he's experimenting more and more with using words now.

ETA: I don't know how Barney became the first word. Alek doesn't watch Barney as much as Sesame Street or Signing Time. My best friend's daughter is a Barney fanatic. I think they must have this down to a science to get kids into it.

ut-oh does that mean his first song will be "I love you...."

or maybe my brother's version: "I hate you, you hate me....

Don't worry -- my son's first 2 syllable word was "coffee". :)

Beats booger. Or the more dreaded Daddy booger.

Yeah, that's still a funny one. We'll see what the first sentences are soon!

BTW I've been thinking on and off about the pre-treating thread for the last couple days!
