What would you pick? I would be on Broadway, playing Eponine.
Okay, an aged Eponine.

It's a tough choice, but between these two:

1) guitar playing folk singer, performing in cafes and churches
2) doing awesome (rock)climbs in Yosemite and Utah

I would love to be a fabulous decorator/designer. My house is so bland b/c I have no idea how to put things together. I admire people who are able to decorate their home and have it look amazing!

I love that you love Le Mis.

Broadway is one of my fantasies too. (I am a pretty good singer.)

If I followed my heart, I'd choose dance as an awesome talent -- then I'd have a great body too.

If I were smart, I'd choose something more profitable as a talent, but not sure what, maybe writing, or I'd choose to be Oprah.

I would love to have musical talent of any kind. My DH is an AWESOME drummer (do I sound like I'm 17?) and despite years of piano lessons, I can hardly play "Do Re Mi." I would also love to be able to draw/paint, which I also can't do.

ETA: Fun topic!

I would definitely be a singer/performer!!

I have so many dreams where I'm singing and dancing
on a huge stage and I get standing ovations!! :)

I need major help in the voice department though!
Can't sing at all. Horrible!

I guess I could always entertain the crowd with my cool
dance moves. (The Robot, Running Man, Roger Rabbit, Cabbage
Patch, Tootsie Roll, etc.) :)

I would be able to rock a baby (ANY baby) to sleep for the night in two minutes or less.

Only talent that seems worthwhile given my curent lifestyle. ; )

Now THAT is an awesome idea! :)

I'm a pretty good singer (choral), but I sometimes envy those wonderful soloists in our choir. But I honestly enjoy being able to make the music that I do.

I would prefer to be an awesome Graphics Artist. (I'm only a passable one right now, I think.)

I'd love to have a beautiful soprano voice for singing classical opera. I don't care about performing, being on stage or anything like that--I just want the voice and the knowledge that I could belt one out if I felt like it. ;) This partially comes from the fact that my voice is such a soft pitch that I think a mouse can squeak louder than I can scream.

ok, i'm a closet eponine too :)... at least in the car - but then there i'm faith and celine and even john denver's lead back-up singer, don't cha know. and i make a fairly passable phantom's christine too - hahaha. :).

anyway, really, i think if i had to pick one thing to be truly awesome at it would be something sporty like being a world class (or at least competitive) cyclist. i've never been much of an athlete. i'm really a late bloomer in having the confidence/tenacity to stick with a sport long enough to get passable at it. i'd love to be able to beat the guys i ride with up the hills - just once :). i was always one of the last kids 'picked' for anything sporty, mostly just because of my size i think, so i always envied those athletic girls.

I would have to disagree with you about being a
"passable" Graphic Artist!

I've seen several posts showing your work and I think
you do an AWESOME job!! :)

I'd love to be a song-writer. Creating music would be so cool.

That, and maybe an architect.

I would LOVE to be a dancer. It would be so great to be able to lift my leg over my head (my DH would love that also!). Any kind of dancer, but I have always wished my Mom had taken me to ballet school as a little girl. To be as graceful as a ballet dancer would really be cool.

First an accomplished artist, in sculpture and watercolors.

Second, a pet whisperer. I have a compelling need to make sure all the vicious Yorkies in the world aren't chewing the heads off of innocent turtles.

Okay, so I think it would be too much to ask to be telekinetic (a lazy girl's dream :D).

Instead I would like to be James Taylor's backup singer. I can rock the lyrics to "Shed a Little Light" and "(I've Got to) Stop Thinkin' 'Bout That"...in the car...by myself.

I was gonna say dance, particularly ballet (I danced all my growing-up years but didn't have really good ballet training till I was about 12 which was a little late), but I think what I really wish for is a vocal range of more than 3 notes. I would love to be able to really belt it out. The times I wish for it most are during worship (at church or elsewhere), when I really want to offer something good to God but my voice won't do it. I always think that when I get to heaven, I'll be able to sing!

Oh, I also think tap dancing is so fun. Or, to be a part of STOMP---now THAT would be FUN!

ETA: Another Eponine fan here, though I also think Fantine is great. But y'know who is really cool? Gavroche. Maybe DS can be Gavroche someday LOL.

I have two, tennis and piano. I've starting taking tennis lessons recently and I am planning on starting piano with my dd, so maybe I still have time to make it big!!! Come on, haven't you seen all the almost 40 something tennis stars on tv??

I'd love to be an awesome pastry chef. I'm pretty good at baking, but the decorating is not very good. I once decorated a Wiggles birthday cake for Martie and it looked like someone did it blindfold.

I would be a crazy, hopped up gymnast!

There are times when a girl just wants to do back flips, you know?

I'm so gawky and awkward I can't even do a proper somersault :(.
