Pictures of Jaci

I just wanted to post a few pictures of Jaci. We are setteling in and slowly adjusting to life with 3 kids. Jaci is just a sweet perfect baby so far so she has just fit right in. I wish my recovery wasn't so difficult. It is hard to just not be able to jump right up and deal with the boys or her. My mom and Jacob are going to be taking several weeks off so at least I have help.

Jaci is still having a hard time maintaining her body temperature and she is Jaundice right now but those are all things that are easily dealt with. We are spending a lot of time skin to skin and have created quite the bond. I had my tubes tied during surgery so she is my last baby. It makes me a little sad so I am just trying to take in every moment of her infancy. Since I can't do much with the boys right now I am spending most of my day holding her. I still can't get over how small she is compared to the boys. I feel like I am going to break her. It is just such a precious time right now.

The boys are really cute with her! Jackson wante to hold, feed and "pet" her. I guess he thinks she is a cat. Tyler is just curious and is learning how to be gentle. He runs right to her if she ever cries. It is cute.

Oh My Goodness! She is so cute!!! By the way, judging by the pic of her in the hospital bassinet, Jaci's legs are longer than my DD's (and she's 7 months old, lol!). She is just precious. Enjoy all that cuddling!

I just wanted to let everyone know that Jaci's bows are from our own Anna at Prettylittlemonkey.com. I had her send me a few headbands and an assortment of bows and I couldn't be happier with them. They are so well made and she really goes that extra step to make them perfect. I have ordered a few bows and bought a white headband from someone else but the quality isn't nearly as nice. I'm going to go broke with all the cute girl stuff! :)

I totally understand about being sad about having your tubes tied. I still struggle with it even though everyone agreed that my body just could not handle another pregnancy. Enjoy the time that you have with her, but don't dwell to much on the fact that she is your last. IME, that just makes things harder.

We are going through a serious Bob the Builder phase here in our house. Of course Dh's family and him would let him wear goggles out in public. Not exactly my idea of fashion but oh well. I had to fight him to take them off so they wouldn't be on in all the pictures. :)

The lady with the long hair is my mom. She was 18 when she had me so she is still quite young. Yesterday was her 45th birthday so it will make her feel good to see the compliments.
