We didn't have one, but I was going to take digital pics of everyone with the baby and print them out and put them in little frames. Of course that takes time and expense, and again we didn't wind up having one...

Something tea related might be cute, have anything left from Abigail's party?

The favor for one of dd's showers was a bookmark I made with a cute saying. We didn't do anything for ds. Was offered but didn't accept. I don't think I would have done a favor but maybe would have. Sorry I'm not much help but i think a bookmark would be cool. :)

As an adult, I'll take great food over favors any day. I guess kids like favors though.

We did little bags of custom M&Ms with his name and birthdate on one and his weight and height on the other or something like that. We bought the M&Ms online, but made up the little bags with things we bought cheap. We also had personalized candy bars that said "HEREHEIS" (I couldn't decide on just one! Plus I didn't think we had enough Hershey wrappers since we had 95 people). We bought the candy bars on sale and a package of 36 wrappers for $2 so each favor was under $1, I think.

FWIW, I don't think we needed favors, but I liked having them and making them. We also had WAY too much food. It was late July, so we had it at a local park in their pavillion (did I mention the 95 people? No way they were all going to fit in our house, although we thought of that). It was a lot of fun. Just food, meeting the baby, etc...

No, we didn't do favors - it was more like an open house than a shower. We did have an amazing spread, though.

I agree, it is not really a shower, it is more of an open house situation. I'd just do nice finger foods and beverages.
