Anyone else flying 9/11/06?

DH has to fly out from Newark on 9/11/06 for business. I am uneasy about this, but he is fine with it. I am telling myself that it may actually be safer to fly then since security will be stepped up. Anyone else know someone flying 9/11?

Yep, we (DH, DD and I) are flying to Las Vegas for my uncle's wedding. Actually, now that I think about it, my parents, brother, sister and a nephew are all flying that day from another airport. I didn't even think about the date. I guess we better get there extra early.

We flew on 9/11/02 (the first anniversary), and it felt weird. But everything was totally normal with the flight, and once we were going, it didn't feel strange at all. Have a good flight!

i have friends flying this day.. they thought nothing of it. it was what fit into their schedule. i would think security would be stepped up.

We are (me, DH and DD) and I'm not worried a bit. The only thing stressing me is the whole liquids/gel thing. I can't figure out if playdough would be considered a "gel"! Playdough is a life saver for long stretches of sitting and if I can't take in on board it's going to be a long 4 hour flight!!
