Can anyone recommend some nap bedding? Ds' school provides cots, so it doesn't to actually be fully-cushioned.

Thanks

ETA: I should have said, this is what I really like, except I want something that is less-patterned or with more muted colors. Less stimulating for naptime, IYKWIM. The prices aren't cheap, but the sale items are nice. I wish I'd bought one of their butterfly ones ahead for Dd. It's hard to put that chunk of change down on something I'll have to store for 3 years, though, LOL. Now I missed out!

Last year DS' preschool just asked for blankets and maybe a pillow. For the pillow I got him a traveler size pillow with cases from REI. For the blanket, I took someone's suggestion here and bought fleece at the fabric store and cut it into blanket sizes. Since fleece doesn't ravel, no sewing required! I let DS choose the color.

When i was working with children who napped most had a bottom sheet for the cot and maybe a small blanket or pillow. It depended on the child, some children took 2 hour naps and had more of a large blanket and pillow, some children did not want anything on their cot at all.

We have this: http://www4.jcpenney.com/jcp/Products.aspx?DeptID=327&CatID=21718&CatTyp=POP&ItemTyp=G&GrpTyp=PRD&ItemID=0f97136&ProdSeq=1&ProdCount=1&Dep=KIDS%27&RefPage=SearchDepartment&ShowMenu=T&ShopBy=0&SearchString=nap+mat&S4DeptID=327&CmCatId=SearchResults

Not the best quality, but works well, and is easy to transport...DS loves his :)

Very cool, and on sale! I'll have to check this out. DD is moving to the toddler room and a cot, I didn't think to ask about bedding. Thanks!

Make sure you ask about size restrictions. Many daycare/preschools are pretty strict on the size of things for bedding. Since DD moved to a toddler room at her old daycare and now her current preschool room, she could have a blanket and a small lovey if she wanted. By small I mean it had to fit in the palms of our hands. Pillows weren't allowed.

We have a fleece blanket that I did by just serging the edges of a piece of fleece. Warm, comfy and durable. She has her beloved "bear" lovey.

Thanks. I know they allow the nap roll-style of bedding (and have a special section of their cubby just for it) b/c one of the parents makes them. She has really quality things but they are all NMS, so I'm trying to find something else.

So far it's looking like Ds is taking a crib sheet, cotton knit blanket(yay for Ikea!) and square pillow (he picked out last year, a throw-style) if I can't find anything more 'exciting' (okay, exciting for me. LOL).
