Alas, our TV died last night. It has had a nice run and is undoubtedly amusing some long passed football fans in heaven.
Lily, however, is not taking this loss lightly. This morning I found a little note she had written and stuck on the TV. Please excuse the spelling, she is only 5.
Here is the TV with her note in the corner...

Here is a close-up of the note...

I love my little Lily!

That is ADORABLE!!! What a cutie that it would occur to her to do that. And it's legible, you should be very proud,
Michelle

OMG that is TOO funny!! I love it! If our TV died, you'd find dh and the kids draped over it, crying hysterically. HA! I admire Lily's restraint ;)

That is adorable! I would feel the same way if my TV died too! I think that is one of the cutest things I have ever seen! Thanks so much for sharing! I'll be smiling for awhile!

Oh my gosh, that is adorable! I love it! I'm assuming she'll be going with you to find a replacement? ;)

It took my husband less than 12 hours to "research", decide upon and purchase a new (and I might add, even bigger) TV to ensure it was delivered by opening day.
Let's not talk about how long it has taken him to (not) trim the bushes in the front...
Oh well, now he can't give me any grief for all my back to school (even though only one is in school) shopping.
Now that I think about it....I wonder if sabotage had anything to do with the untimely demise of our set. Hmmmmmm...

She really, really loves the TV. The "Lily, are you hugging the TV again" sort of way.
She was distraut that it had broken. Not that she couldn't watch TV, just that something in our house that she liked was going to be replaced.
She is the poster child for not liking change, just like her mama!!!
