Any ideas for first day of school gift?

My sitter's 2 boys start their first day of school soon and I want to get them something small to celebrate? They are 3 and 5 (Pre-K and Kindergarten). Any ideas? I am going Mama some tissues! :-)

On my first day of Kindergarten, I had a big Crayola bag and a Crayola outfit, which makes me think maybe a Crayola gift set would be nice. I've gotten my niece a Crayola backpack with crayons and stuff in it. If you check out that aisle in TRU, I'm sure you'll find some really cute stuff. :)

In the bakery section of our local grocery store they sell "back to school cookies" that have cute sayings on them like "first day of school" "school rocks" "school is cool". They sell them for the first week or so of school. You see lots of parents waiting at the bus stops on the first day of school with the treat and a balloon! Ask about them in the fresh baked section of your local supermarket.
