Hope this works! Ryan was so nonchalant about his first day of school. His only concern was how he was going to open his milk without me! I kept telling myself dont cry, dont cry, dont cry.

They are probably too big - make sure to resize them smaller before you try!

Very sweet! You should take a moment to cry! It's a momentous occasion when our little ones start school. :) It's great he was so confident about being away all day too.

BTW, I *love* your dress! Will you share where you got it, please?

When I got in the car I sat there for a moment & cried and I thought of that cold December day I brought him home from the hospital. And that made me cry more. It does makes me feel good that he is confident. I am so proud of him.

I found the dress at Ann Taylor Loft. Love that store! Their clothes fit me just right & aren't too old or too young for me :)
Thanks!

Wonderful pic's I am glad you were able to post them! I adore the first of both of you together. That should have a place of honor.

And I, like Elizabeth, think your dress is fab! I'd love to know more about it. :-)

Thank you!
I cried in the car. Walking back down the hall out the school was tough. It was like my body was walking but my mind was saying, no don't leave. Oh how I love that boy!

I think it is so cool when kids pick their own clothes and/or accessories (and cool of Momma to go with it!). ;-)

The web site doesn't have the dress. I will check the AT factory store. They always have great deals. Will let you know if I find it. :)

Oh that must have been so hard. He looks so happy and confident though. I'm sure it was much harder on you than him. The pictures are great. I love ann taylor loft too BTW. I just discoverd it this summer.

Awwwww...this is so heartwarming.

As a 1st grade teacher (I've seen it all!) I think you are so fortunate to have such a well adjusted son who had no anxiety about going to school. I pray Mia is the same way when her turn comes.

Thanks for sharing!!
