Wild guess. Cape Canaveral, FL. (kennedy space center)?

I am so lousy at these I never even guess, so let me down gently. . .
Omaha Beach in Normandy?

I was going to guess Cape Canavrel as well. Didn't know they have two launch pads...

Uh, no. The water would be on the west side. Correct ocean though!

Wild guesses are sometimes right on the money! Cape Canaveral it is. :-)
Yep, definitely Cape Canaveral! If memory serves, there are actually several launch pads, some for the shuttles, some for other rockets. These look like they're for Shuttles - they've got the big "crawlerways" leading up to them - special roads/tracks for the shuttles to roll from the Vehicle Assembly Bldg to the launch pads. There's a big long landing strip nearby - something like 13,000ft IIRC. Way back when I was flight instructing in FL, you could request "the space center tour" from ATC, and do a relatively low (500 ft) pass over the runway. I have a pic that I took all lined up on approach!

Yep, two shuttle launch pads. There are also quite a few rocket launch pads.

Oh, wait - is north always up in these things? That would tend to make it a little easier.

Aww...man! And Cape Canaveral would have been my wild guess as well! It definitely looked like a launching pad to me, although I didn't realize CC had two of them. Very cool looking from above!

It was a wild guess at first, then the more I thought about it, I recognized the crawlerways and the swampy ground in between, I was pretty sure, but I had to sign off last night before I could double check.
My first thought looking at the 2 identical towers was that it was a ceremonial or religious site of some sort.
