...and suddenly, the slippers didn't seem so important ;)!!!

Sending you tons of easy healthy labor vibes, and I hope DH surprises you with an AMAZING pair of comfy slippers when you are done.

Thanks! I will contact you when I return.

Here's an update on me

It's 7:30 am.. contractions are now about every 3 minutes. My goal is to be at the Hospital at 9 am. Right now we are bringing babysitter up to speed. Letting Doula sleep, and we rescheduled MIL to fly in today.

My friends are coming over today for playdates w/DS.

I just barely lost my mucus plug. I am managing to mediate my contractions away. I feel so much better having lost all that fluid. It's amazing how much fluid I had.

I'll call my Dr. around 8 am.

I'm trying for another Drug free delivery. Please continue to pray for me. So far prayers must be working because this is going so much better than DS's birth so far.

Love and Thanks
Nancy

Good luck! And if you still want slippers, LOL!, I wore my Birkenstocks as slippers in the hopsital. Pretty much any slide on shoe will do.

Wow, things are progressing right along--you sound remarkably calm for a woman whose pressure waves are 3 minutes apart! Praying for a wonderful and healthy birthing!!!

I didn't think you'd still be home after I got your e-mail...I figured that she'd be here by now!

I'm so glad that she's decided to come early; I know you were in so much pain. I'm glad you've gotten everything rearranged for DS. Let me know if you need any other help.

Many prayers for a quick and easy birth! You can do it!

I am still at home!

10:30 am. Contractions slowed down enough that I actually got some sleep. I am about 3.5 cm dilated.

I am still at home because I don’t want to go into the hospital till I am at least 5 cm or so. And the contractions are closer together again. (trying to avoid Pitocin and evil nurses)

They were every 10 min then every 5 then every 3 and now they are every 25 minutes. I am starving so DH just got me a breakfast taco.

Please pray that these contractions pick up again. Our Doula felt her head an told me it's not too big. That is great news. I feel so much better now that the water broke. Not like I am being ripped apart in two like I have been feeling for days.

These contraction so far are so much easier than they have been with Curt.

Hopefully the next time you'll hear about me it will be DH sending the good word. Again I need lots of prayers. Pray for contractions for me.

Silly to pray for pain but I promise I'll make it work through me. My blood pressure is 100/60 isn't that amazing. Meditation works. Her heart rate is in the 150's. All is well.

Nancy

Thanks
Nancy

I'll send you some of my contraction vibes. ;-)

Nancy, wishing you all the best in the world. I believe prayer gives us the strength and courage to get THROUGH the pain, even if it doesn't take it away. So, lots of prayers coming your way....that it's safe, efficient, uncomplicated labor and that your pelvis problem doesn't interfere (sp?).

Go, Nacy & baby, go!
