I haven't been feeling well today and my husband actually happened to be home this weekend. He's a surgical resident so not home very often. Today, he let me sleep in, then we took a nap together while the girls were sleeping, then he took the girls out of the house so I could have some peace and quiet. And THEN he did the most amazing thing of all. He cooked dinner!!! I love my husband and he tries really hard to help me but he has no cooking skills at all. He can't even make boxed pasta without having everything boil over. So needless to say, I was skeptical when he said he wanted to make me dinner. It was nothing fancy, but it was good and he did it without any help. He made fetticine with TJ's vodka sauce and TJ's sweet italian sausage. It just was so sweet of him to do that especially since I'm all freaked out about the ant situation. I just had to share how wonderful my husband is. :) Thanks!

What a great guy! I'm glad you had a good weekend and a helpful hubby to make it all possible. Makes me thankful for mine, too. :-)

How sweet and considerate of him! I'm sure when you're feeling better again, you will properly ... ahem.. "thank" him. ;)

Awww...that is just so sweet of your DH. How thoughtful for him to take the time to pamper you today.

That is so sweet of him. The best part is that you did not have to ask, he just did it.

What a sweet guy!!

MMM, your ant situation has brough mine to light, turns out I have Carpenter ants (I checked them out this morning.) Yuck yuck yuck. It is going to have to wait though since I need to get some $ coming in before I even think about hiring someone to come and look at the situation. Blech!!!

My sympathies. I've been calling around to get quotes and info from different places. Hopefully it won't be as bad as I feared. I'll be happy to share what I learn. In the mean time, the best thing you can do is see if you can figure out where their colony is so that pest control knows where to start when they get there. BTW, did you get my email?

No kidding. That was a really pleasant surprise.
