Particularly moisturizers with SPF of 30 or higher? I have been reading about Parasol and some other ingredient only found in Europe and Canada (meryxl?). I would prefer the ingredient that is not avaiable here yet since it had so mnay good reviews (even though I can't think of the name! :)
I am so confused with all the reviews on Makeupalley.com

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Mexoryl has been approved. I don't know if the products are on the shelves yet.

Parsol 1749, otherwise known as Avobenzene. It's in Neutrogena, Aveeno that I know of. I use the spf 45 from Neutrogena.

Products are on the shelves, but sadly, at a premium price. A little bottle of La Roche Possay's (sp) Anthelios creme sells here for almost twice what it is in France. You could always order them from Canada, but the shipping is also expensive. The previosly mentoned lotion has an spf of 40. Garnier also makes one, 35 SPF I believe.

I know the Neutrogena in the white bottle (can't recall the exact name - sensitive skin, maybe) has Parsol 1789/Avobenzene, as do some of the Kiehl's sunscreens, both of which are available at SPF 30 and above. They both work well and haven't caused any skin irritation for us.
