If you are selling something on EBay and set a reserve, why do people email you asking what your reserve is? Maybe someone can explain this to me...

I've done it a couple times to see if it's worth my time and effort to follow and bid on the auction. If the seller sets an outragous reserve, then I won't bother trying to win.
