View Full Version : anyone ever do a cooking course in Tuscany???

I am looking to sign some friends up for a one day cooking class when they are in Tuscany as a wedding gift and have NO clue which company to go with and as such a I am way behind in doing this a they are gettign amrried in two weeks! so any and all info woul dbe of help!

WHen we went on our honeymoon to Tuscany, I did lots of web research. So start there--google it and see what you get. I would suggest looking at a Fodor's guide in the bookstore--because they might have this info. Heck, there might even be a guide on cooking courses in Tuscany. I just grabbed an old Frommers guide--and they say that some of the language schools and wine estates offer mini cooking courses. Check out Castello Vicchiomaggio 055-854-079 (obviously, try the web first)The Insight Guide says try the Universita per Stranieri, which is in Perugia. You will need to know where your friends are staying and what day they have free--depends on what kind of advance planners they are. Good luck.
