After arguing with my PC for years, I'm going back to Mac. (Yay!) The only thing I think I'll miss is Picasa, which I love for easy photo editing. How's the Mac software? Is there anything compatible to Picasa to download?

I have a newish iMac and I really like iPhoto which comes with it. Not sure what type of editing you're doing, but iPhoto does basic editing very easily.

Welcome back :-)

We use MacImage Resizer for, well...resizing. For editing I use PhotoShop Elements 4. I don't play w/ iPhoto too much except for creating photo books.

well, for basic editing (cropping, some adjustment of levels (exposure, balance, etc), red-eye correction, some special-effects like B&W or sepia and even some basic retouching (ie. a pimple) iphoto is actually very good and very easy to use. for more advanced digital alterations, corrections, etc you'd probably want some sort of adobe photoshop. elements, as pp mentioned is less expensive and would probably be plenty powerful for you/meet your needs unless you're doing some pretty sophisticated photo editing.
