Having a pig roast for my daughters first birthday at the end of October. It is mostly family and close friends. I know it is more of a party for M&D. My DH says to forget favors and games but our neighbor had a huge 1 year old party and they spent like thousands of dollars. (characters dressed up, carnival games, giant train to ride on, band for kids, it was crazy) I don't want to compete like that so I want to make my party more simple but fun and enjoyable for the children, so I need suggestions.

I need an idea for a favor and some games to play. I mostly have adults at the party (about 60) and some children, none really her age mostly older (about 20).

I wanted to come up with an inexpensive favor that would be good for adults and children if there is such a thing. I am crafty so ideas that way will also help.

For games I was thinking of pin the tail on the piggy, mini pumpkins for the kids to decorate and I don't know what else.

I'm not very creative on the favor-front but wanted to suggest you do a search for ideas.

Are you wanting something that has to do with pigs? You could also try www.birthdaypartyideas.com (http://www.birthdaypartyideas.com) . They have a *ton* of useful info. I'm sure you'd find something there.

I hope you have a fun day celebrating. Happy birthday to your little one. :)
