since the old one got locked before I took this - here's my wife and I (sorry it's so staged looking - I just did it over my lunchbreak for our Korean adoption package we need to send in):

edit: removed pic - been up long enough for anyone that wanted to have a look ;)

great pic !

It really is so nice putting faces with names. of course, I wasn't sure whether to expect another picture something along the lines of your old "pride and joy" shot.

Good luck on the adoption front !

Bill, thanks for starting Part 2! I had seen Part 1, but my picture was too big and by the time I remembered, we were going away for the weekend...blah blah blah...

Good luck on your adoption—we're planning to start ours in 2007. It's very exciting. Nerve-wracking, but exciting.

Anyway, thanks for reminding me. I just went and checkout out all the pics and it was great to put faces to names. The only half decent one I can find is of all three of us, pretty recently, I think maybe last month or so?

I'm a privacy fiend. But ok, I'll cave; here's a good shot of me and DS some time and pounds ago.

ETA --> I'm sorry, I just am too paranoid, so I deleted the photo. I figure with 783 views of the thread, anyone who wants to know what I look like and then stalk me have already done so. I'm not worth stalking; seriously, have you seen my ass?

Wow Bill, I love your pic. Your wife is lovely! Okay, I was hedging on this, esp. since I didn't have a recent pic, but now I do. Here's one of Dora's birthday party last week. We're posed with my parents and my grandma (Wow, 4 generations).

You're a very handsome couple, Bill!

You know, this post also brings up a question I sometimes think about (total curiosity on my part)--how many people recognize my user name? I mean, how many people will read this post and remember seeing my user name before? Does anybody else ever wonder that?

Anyway, here's the only (which is horrible [that it's the only one]) picture of us as a family. It was Miriam's 3rd birthday, after almost everyone was gone, so she was really tired; hence the dead fish expression on her face.

ETA: I meant that it was horrible that we only have 1 family picture.

Alright Hilary, where'd you get that kid? He looks like something out of a children's book or something because he is sooo freakin' cute. :)

And you look EXACTLY like I thought you would. Fun and friendly (and cute!). Girl, if we ever go to Chicago we have to hang out. Same goes if you ever find yourself in CO.

Bill, thanks for starting another thread. I love putting faces to usernames. You guys are a handsome couple, and I'm surprised by how good everyone looks. Sitting here everyday in my jammies, I picture everyone else the same, but of course we don't take pictures like that.

Here's one from DD's birthday last spring. It's the only one I can find. DD is a little disoriented with all the people in her domain

Aaaw, Thank you, all three of you's guys! It took me several tries to get the picture to take just right. I used to take several pictures every day and email them to my DH, who had to go back to working out of town when DS was 6 weeks, so that way he didn't miss anything.

Now, ahem, just a little note that I may have simply missed them, but me no see pix of the 3 of you. I just went back to the first thread before Bill posted, and I can't find Sheila, Becky, or Allison. Ya may want to not post, which is fine, I almost didn't myself. In fact, I'll probably delete the picture once the thread goes dormant.

Becky, I see you as straight, dark hair, small and petite with big boobs. Sheila, totally earthy, crunchy, long light brown hair, Alison, not so sure, but I'm gettin' a blonde vibe off ya.

Thanks for the nice compliments :-). I slept in Denver on the way home from our sad car ride from Vegas (where we were stuck on 9/11). The La Quinta Inn was very nice. There's probably more in the state, tho; perhaps, we should check it out again sometime!

>hair,

LOL. No. Want to know what I look like? Watch The Gilmore Girls. I swear, EVERYONE tells me I look JUST like a younger version of the mom, down to the wavy hair. So take Lauren Grahm and subtract about 10-15 years (I will be 25 on my bday but look young and I think she's mid 30s). I often dye my hair different shades of pink, blue, or purple. No tats though (but I love them) as I am super scared of needles. I'm short, 5'2,usually petite, but right now I look as if I've swallowed a small planet.

These days I'm rockin' just a simple blue stripe on one side of my head. If this baby turns out to be a girl, I'm switching to pink. :)

You know what's weird? That's what I think Becky looks like too! LOL Isn't it funny how you get a picture of somebody in your head when you "talk" to them?

I am under strict orders from DH, "no pictures". I figure the guy doesen't ask for much so I'd let him win this one. And yes, he is paranoid (but only slightly). lol

ok, all the talk of dark haired parents with blondies (strawberry in sam's case) got me into a photo of the two of us (as many have commented, i'm usually the photog) at the farm today. my dh has dark auburn hair, and as you can see, mine's pretty dark brown, but out popped a blondie who is slowly gaining red momentum :). not the best pic of him, but the only one we got today where i was looking forward, rather than trying to get him to smile :).

Thanks for starting part II. I have finally found a picture of DH and I together, it's from our trip to Thailand at the beginning of May. Normally, one of us takes a picture so he or she is not in the picture.

And in this picture you can't see my face because of the helmet, I am posting another one of just me. I tried to find a picture of myself that I like and realized that I have to go back almost a year or better yet three, so this one will have to do. And did I tell you that 90+% of pictures are that of DS?

Thanks. It was a PITA to sew (I'm not a good sewer and silk is terrible). It's super long on me, but I wanted a flowy one (now I'm in the hunt for a nice Zolo ;))

LOL! Well, maybe I should have been a natural blonde, I don't know.
I'd say its not really a great picture... but, alas, it's a pretty true representation of reality. Geez, I'm looking old these days. I need to go look-up some of the old wrinkle cream threads.

& if you ever are in Denver, let me know. :)

Jeana, it's so good to see your face (could hardly make you out in the pic from the first thread.) That's one good looking family you've got there.
