Good update on Beth (egoldber) and Amy

I talked to Beth this afternoon, and she was ecstatic to report that she got to hold Amy and also feed her! Amy did great in her first real try at the whole suck, swallow, breathe routine and was alert the whole time. Then Beth got to hold her, and Amy fell asleep in her arms! She has made fantastic progress in breathing and is now breathing room air, so things are going very well. What happy news!
