How is your plasma or LCD TV mounted?

What about if you have two?

Our 15" LCD panel in our kitchen is wall-mounted on a retractable arm so that you can pull it out and turn it towards the table.

Our 42" plasma flat screen in our basement is on a entertainment stand/table.

Over the mantle with hardware from Home Depot. If you are going to mount it flat, no tilt, buying a mounting kit or anything like that is a rip-off. I think DH spent less than $15 on the brackets and metal rods from Home Depot.

We have that retractable arm where the tv can come out and swivel, not because we need it, but because DH likes to get all the bells and whistles. We've had the tv 6 months and have yet to use the arm. When the store sold it to him, they said, "Does your wife like to clean? Because this way, she can get back there and dust behind it!" Um, yeah, like that'll ever happen...

we have the articulating arm and use it all the time. dh is always switching around cables behind the tv and it would be impossible with out the arm. we got for $75 at costco (for up to a 37" tv) and it was money well spent.
