I have no less than three layers on anyone part of me. I hate the cold! :(
DH won't turn the heat up over 65, blah!

I am right there with you. According to weather.com although it is 35F here, due to wind and humidity it feels like 28F. And I am supposed to go to a soccer game with my office tonight :eyeroll. The game is supposed to start at 9:45PM and overnight low is forecast to be at 26F, not counting the wind-chill factor. I am seriously thinking of not showing up, the ticket was only $14. I either bond with my office or get sick I am afraid.

Just checked forecast and it's supposed to get warmer by Thursday :).

Oh my! I hope you're warm and cozy really soon! 65 is a little low, imo.

Sunday morning, DH got up with DS to let me sleep in. However, DS was SCREAMING to wake the entire neighborhood. When I went in, DH looked at me totally confused, "I don't know what's wrong with him."

DH and DS were both in short-sleeved T-shirts and shorts. I walked in with a sweatsuit overtop of my long-sleeved pajamas and two pairs of wool socks (DH didn't think we needed the heat on, yet.) To make a long story short, I took DS in under a blanket with me and he calmed right down. When DH got back inside after taking the dogs out, he suggested that maybe it's time to turn the heat on!

Yes! I slept in a fleece jacket (over my usual pjs of a t-shirt, long pants, and socks) UNDER my down comforter last night! We have the heat on but it's set at about 65 so it's still chilly overnight. The girls are fine snuggled up in bed but it's cool in the AM when we get up. DH is always warmer than me and although he's used to it by now I still think he thinks I'm a bit dramatic about it. I'm going go gradually inch the thermostat up this week because I can't stand being cold in the house when I'm already bundled up.

Yes, this cold weather is absurd and it's only mid-October! We live in Massachusetts and I am honestly dreading the weather these next six months. I love living here for many reasons but the cold makes me crazy!

I feel for you, Christy!

me! I grew up in the tropics and DH thinks 68 is toasty and totally appropriate for daytime temp. I glared at him this morning as I turned it up to 69 :) Off to buy some long sleved shirts I guess. Other winters I lived in sweat shirts but I'm finding them hard to nurse in...

I wish! It is suppose to be 90 here today! (Texas) I LOVE the cold weather. I really wish we had a normal fall/winter. I grew up in an area that had snow through the winter and I miss that. I am sad that my children will probably never see snow unless we go skiing. It snowed here the year Jackson was a born and it was the first snow in like 60 years. It was a big deal! We woke up at 5 am and went and took a picture. It was melted by 7:30 that morning.

You can always put more clothes on when it is cold but you can't strip down and run around town naked when it is hot! :) Even if you could I don't think it would help.

Send your cold weather my way!

Inside, yes. Bundled up, no.

We pay the same price no matter how hot our house is, so it's a balmy 74 inside today. I don't know how cold it is outside and I don't intend to find out!! :)

YES! It is 37 degrees outside and there is plenty of snow up in the mountains. I had the heat turned down to 66 last night (which means 4 or 5 degrees colder in the basement where we sleep) and practically froze to death! DH and DS were perfectly happy since they both seem to have the same internal heater core. Tonight we get extra blankets on our bed!

We have incredibly manic weather during the fall, so while it was down to 38 degrees a few nights ago (when we made our first fire in the fireplace) and consistently in the high 40s overnights, it's supposed to hit near 80 Thursday and has been in the mid 70s during the day since Sunday. So far, only had to turn the heat on once, and that was to 66 degrees.

I hate these transition months. Where's the just plain cold? I love sweaters and coats and using the heated seats in my car. Mmm, mmm, mmm. Toasty!

i hate being cold. every fall i try and talk DH into moving. but he loves the north. i would be much happier in sandles and shorts. not a snow suit from oct - april..
