Anna Madeline, our first, was born Friday, October 20th, at 4:45 p.m., weighing in at 7 lb., 8 oz. and 21 inches long. I was induced starting Thursday night due to being almost 1 week overdue and with pregnancy-induced hypertension for the last three weeks of pregnancy. Things went very smoothly, and there she was! We both came home from the hospital on Sunday.

She is (of course) adorable and is very well behaved. I feel so blessed to be able to have this time at home with her. My only wish would be that it warms up here a little bit so that we can get outside before it stays too cold-- since when is it 47 and windy every day in NJ in mid-October?

Thanks to all on the boards for advice, etc., as we awaited her arrival.
