Holiday Wishlists

So... just to dream a bit... if you could ask for ANYTHING for Christmas, what would it be?

First things first...

The only rule, the first list has to include things for you and NOT be child related.
I'll go first:
A Louis Vuitton monogram bag - I'd even let DH choose the style he likes best!
A diamond cross pendant
Gucci or Prada riding-style tall boots (to wear with my new bag, of course:)

And then... what will you really ask for?

Again, I'll go first:
An Oilily diaper bag
furry lined gloves (TJ Maxx has a pair I'd adore!)
new everyday silverware
a looong maternity massage, pedicure & hairstyle followed by a date & overnight babysitter ;)

Wishes:
-a new bridal wrap...i know you're supposed to like the one you get...but i really had my heart set on a different one and they had sold it (they dont' have more than one of the same ring at this store so it was a big bummer) and there's another one i've had my eye on....MIL picked this one out and whenever i look at it, i think of her...not exactly what you want in your wedding ring....

-a new minivan---i would really like an Odyssey....

-a massage envy membership

-a new bedroom set....

what i'll ask for:
-a new flat iron (mine is dying :()
-gift certificates for the baby stuff I need
-a prenatal massage and a pedicure
-a tv for our bedroom

-a new car, Mercedes G or R class (way out of our league) or Nissan Murano (more like our $$$ situation)
-a Hawaiian vacation with the kids with a babysitter there too
-new couch (I may even use my bonus this year for this)
-personal trainer for 1 year

I'm asking for:
-gift cert to Sephora
-gift cer to Barnes & Noble
-new clothes
-new boots
-new bracelet (cuff or charm w/kids pictures)

What I really want:
A larger car (the Jetta is really cramped with the RF MA)

GC for the fancy lingerie store for after we wean

What I'll ask for:
Vacation (we already booked it, thank you Santa!)
GC for fancy underthings
Pedicure

Oh yeah, and peace on earth and all that good stuff. ;)
Would I be dating myself if I asked if anyone else remembered that SNL skit where Steve Martin says what he'd ask for if he had one wish (and then 2, 3, and more wishes) for xmas?

screened in porch for my back deck

remodel my master bathroom (it is so tiny only one person can be in there at a time)

Reality:

new pots and pans (our current ones are from our college days)

Probably the watch or the Juicy purse. I may get one of them if hubby pays attention.

I really, really want to get my leg hair lasered. I know it sounds silly, but I have very, very light skin, and very, very dark hair, so even right after I shave, it still looks yucky (you can see the tip of the hair folicle under my skin, so it feels smooth but looks like I haven't shaved). So that.

And I'd love a new car ;)

I asked for a new pair of shoes (Keens). SInce I only have 3 pairs, and one is a pair of flip flops (seriously)

- A winter vacation to Switzerland (I've been there once, but it was in the summer, and I've never seen snow before)
- All new furniture (I just got the new PB catalog, and I'm drooling over some great bedroom stuff)

- A new digital camera (my current one is dying a slow, painful death)
- Victoria's Secret GC
- Any kind of perfume other than Curve (which I've been wearing for like the past 5 years)

New furniture for our living room (just moved in and it's empty)
Necklace, either diamond pendant or pearls...can't decide which is more useful.
I loved the remodeling wish by the PP, our kitchen could use that too.

In the real world:
I already bought my new boiled wool slippers because it is cold in our house!
New alarm clock, maybe with CD player
Some new clothes for work
A new wallet, mine is embarrassingly small and ugly
A new bag for work, the old one wore out

a new bracelet.... or a new necklace
laser hair removal for my legs/face, i wax currently but i would love to do something so that i do not have to wax anymore

Actual List:
GC for a massage/facial/spa day
GC to Barnes and Noble/Borders
GC for a clothing store- i have recently lost almost 30 lbs and i have no winter clothes that fit. Bottoms i can wear but i have lost alot of weight and my sweaters are all huge on me.

My birthday is on Thanksgiving this year so we will be having the usual family get together and a party at the same time, and i am sure that i will get alot of useless knick-knacks that will just sit around in the bag/box and probably nothing on my list :-(.

A cleaning lady that comes in *several* times a week for the next year, but somehow miraculously isn't in the way :) WIth child #2 on the way, I'm realizing that my house is going to fall apart pretty quickly as I know I won't be able to keep up. It was hard with one child when he was small. I'm just getting back into good routines in the past 6 months to a year, and that's all going to come to screeching halt ;)
