My dd's room is freezing in the winter, and I am trying to find some decent, but not super expensive flannel sheets for her twin bed. I've done some searching, but would love some recs from people here.

Thanks!

I bought a cute set from Kohls last year with snowmen on them. I could be wrong but I thought Target had them also.

the online disney store has some in their outlet area.

have never tried them, but they look cute enough, and are cheap.

Not flannel, but I got some solid color fleece ones from Kohl's for DS. I bought them last year.

Actually, I found a super-soft, fairly nice set at Bed, Bath, & Beyond last year. They were resonably priced. The only weird thing was that the softness seemed to vary depending on the color. I actually unzipped the packages and stuck my hand inside to feel before I bought. We got the twin sized navy blue set, and have been very happy with them.

I got some really soft ones by Charter Club during the Macy's one day sale recently. They feel really soft. I haven't taken them out and washed them yet though. I got my mom some nice ones by Northern Nights on QVC.

I bought the Charter Club ones from Macy's also. I think they were on sale for about $15 for the twin sheet set.

I got DD some from Target because she wanted holiday ones. Her bed is a full size (not that she ever sleeps in it..) But, check Lands End, LLBean, Garnet Hill, Company Store. They all usually have some on sale. I think their quality is better than Target if it's something she will use a lot.

I bought Matthew a set last year and they are his favorite sheets. I got a set for my bed yesterday and can't wait to sleep on them!

I get Target's flannel sheets every year! They go on clearance at the end of the season for like $20 for a king size set. They are very soft and hold up well.

I just bought a Laura Ashley king size set at Marshall's for only $30. They are the softest flannel sheets I've ever had- much nicer than the LL Bean ones I paid more than $100 for! Marshall's and TJ Maxx seem to have them almost every winter.

DD has a set of Laura Ashley from TJ Maxx and a set of Landsend from Overstocks. They seem equally warm, though the Landsend ones are heavier.

We have some from Eddie Bauer that are at least 6 years old and still look great. We got them on clearance.

The new sheets didn't stay on the boy! After reading some threads here last winter and doing some research, I got an oil-filled space heater (yes it sounds dangerous but check it out - the oil is completely sealed off and never needs to be changed - it stays inside forever). I turn it off every morning and back on at bedtime. It's in the corner of the room, and nothing is right near it. It was cheap - they are at Target, Walmart, etc. Love it - big difference in his room at night - and I sleep better knowing he isn't cold. HTH

The ones on my bed right now are from Sears. I've had them a couple of years and they've held up well.
