Is this stuff really as good as the website claims?
Do any of you use it for ALL your laundry?

Thanks!

Yes, it really is that good, IMO anyway. I use it for all the laundry. My previous detergent, Tide HE, seemed to be fading all the colored clothes super fast, due to optical brighteners in it. I am too lazy to buy two separate detergents, like Cheer dark plus something else, and I hate the smells of the typical stuff.

The Charlie's gets everything clean, the whites aren't dingy, and the colors aren't faded. And it really does just take one tablespoon, too. I only use the powder, haven't tried the liquid, since the powder is cheaper and works. We do have soft water, so just a caveat, if yours is hard, you may have a different experience.

Yes I started using it in all my laundry. Nathan& Connor have sensitive skin and it seems to work well. Everything is getting very clean and it seems my towels feel fluffier. I also have been using the dryer balls and skipping all fabric softener.

Same here. I love the dryer balls! DS does too, though, so they keep disappearing on me. We also use the powder, but I have the liquid too (for when I'm lazy - or I'll add an capful of liquid in addition to the powder when I have a very dirty load).

We have hard city water (Chicago), so I also use calgon water softener.

I get my dryer balls out of the toy box at least once a week LOL

LOVE it! it is the only soap i use now. i just started to use their all purpose cleaner and that stuff is awesome too. you can use it for cleaning, stains on laundry, dirty man hands, etc...

big fan. i do still use zout because we are just too "stainy" around here. but we only use charlie's for laundry and it is now the only cleaner i use (kitchen, bathroom, carpet, floor...) i just put a scoop of the laundry powder in a spray bottle with water.

I'm disappointed in it. I only use it for cloth diapers, but we've been fighting some bad staining since switching, and now I am going to have to scrub by hand to get out some diaper cream (Triple Paste) that Tide HE used to take out on its own. On the upside, we haven't seem to have as many diaper stink issues, but I'm also using as much as 5 teaspoons in a full load of diapers (front loader, hard water), so maybe there is some horrendous build-up in my future. I'm close to going back to Tide exclusively to see if it solves our issues.

I'm very interested...where can I buy it?

I've been using it for about a month. It does seem to do a great job. We've been using a tbsp and it works! It is a little hard to get over the idea that there is NO smell -- at first I wondered if I would miss the soap smell but I don't after a few washes.

I'm not happy with it either. My whites are now very dingy (almost totally gray - it's gross!) and my towels smell better, but are very scratchy. I doubt I'll be buying it again.

I had such high hopes for it, too. Sigh.

I'm in the minority here, but I'm underwhelmed by it. It works okay, but it is definitely NOT a miracle stain remover in my experience. I still use Zout and Oxi-Clean just as often as I did when I was using Tide He. It does a good job on diapers, but no better than Sport Wash.

For us, it works pretty well. It rinses cleaner so our diapers (mostly hemp) are softer. They're still not as soft as if we were to wash them in soft water. And we do still use Spray and wash for tough stains, but we were doing that anyway. We probably have medium hard water and a front loader. I use 1 scoop for all our loads unless we have a particularly large or small load. I've started using it on all our clothes. I love how it doesn't have a scent at all.

I'm planning to get some for my regular laundry and hemp diapers and liners. However, I've heard it works much better on natural fiber diapers and now we are using mostly FB and BG (fleece and PUL) pockets, so I'll probably stick with my Purex combo on those.

That was what I needed to know...we have mildly hard water
so I guess I need to just order it and see if it'll work.

Thanks again!
